En. Rateb the Electrical  Power department Manager for Mazoun. Rateb graduated from Electrical & Power College University of Damascus  University  , Syria) with a Bachelors in Power Engineering. He held many leadership positions in large enterprises, and NGOs in Syria, Saudi Arab kingdom and Oman. This diversity in work environment gave En. Rateb a unique perspective on leadership practices , He is also holding a Computer Science degree.

• Excellent  Knowledge in  the Electrical, control , Automation, BMS building and  industry

• Develop Division policies and procedures manual in coordination with the Corporate Support Manager and     ensure it is well-implemented by staff.

• Assume full management responsibility for the P&C Division, plan and direct the operation and        maintenance of electrical equipment’s and services; oversees the operations of Automation System

• Develop detailed plan for projects along with budget estimation, resources allocation, and time of    completion and submit it to the Projects Manager for final approval.

• Analyze and Manage control systems requirements and projects such as: pumping stations, tanker  parameter, and PLC’s. Direct the project engineers for the same.

• Manage the design documents for project related activities including I/O lists and test documents etc…

• Oversee the development of new control systems; maintain and modify existing systems; communicate the f inal design to the Head of Projects Department for review and approval.

• Supervise instrumentation selection process according to tender specification and requirements.

• Review and amend the design of single line diagram (SLD) for all electrical equipment for specific projects.

• Review and amend the wiring diagram in order to assemble switchgears

• Prepare daily report to update the Head of Projects Department on the E Division performance and  projects progress.

 Conduct site visits to ensure that the project is executed according to the plan.
